The INS-11045 creates a uniform groove measuring approximately 0.55 to 0.60 mm wide, making it suitable for preparing lenses used in semi-rimless eyewear.
Three Grooving Positions
The adjustable positioning system supports center grooving, front-curve grooving, and rear-curve grooving, allowing the operator to adapt the groove location to the lens profile and frame requirements.
Adjustable Grooving Depth
The depth-control dial provides a grooving range from 0 to 0.7 mm. Each scale increment represents 0.1 mm for controlled depth adjustment.
Automatic Centering and Lens Rotation
The left chuck automatically centers, secures, and rotates the lens, while the right chuck supports the convex lens surface during processing.
Guided Lens Movement
Left and right guide rollers stabilize the lens and follow its curvature as it rotates, helping maintain a consistent groove around the entire lens edge.
Water-Assisted Cutting
An integrated water container and sponge continuously supply moisture to the cutting wheel, helping cool the processing area and support smooth grooving performance.
High-Speed Cutting Wheel
The precision cutting wheel operates at 5,500 rpm, completing a typical grooving revolution in approximately 20 seconds.
